Background and Early Life

Bishop Terrence L. Hundley was born in Long Beach, California, on March 8, to the late Bishop William Clinton Hundley and Evangelist Bell V. Hundley. Raised within the rich heritage of the Church of God in Christ (COGIC), Bishop Hundley faithfully served for more than thirty-five years in his father’s ministry, Bethel Miracle Community Church of God in Christ in Long Beach, California, where he was nurtured in the admonition and fear of the Lord.

In addition to his theological and ecclesiastical development, Bishop Hundley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Church Administration and also holds two California General Contractor licenses.

Family

In 1987, Bishop Hundley married his beloved wife, Lady Thersa Hundley. Together they have been blessed with four children: three sons—Terrence II, Terrell, and Tyler—and one daughter, Tyren. His sons and daughter have faithfully labored alongside him in ministry, particularly in the area of music and worship as Ministers of Music.

Ministry and Ordination

In June 2002, Bishop Hundley was ordained into ministry by Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake of the Church of God in Christ at West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles, California.

In 2004, he answered the call to pastoral ministry and became the Pastor of City of Miracles Church of God in Christ in Perris, California. On February 10, 2004, the ministry conducted its inaugural worship service at the Days Inn Hotel in Perris with eighteen members in attendance.

As the ministry experienced rapid growth, services were later relocated to the multipurpose room of Val Verde Elementary School. Eventually, the ministry acquired its own worship facility located at 3110 Indian Avenue in Perris, California, where the congregation grew to more than three hundred members.

Bishop Hundley also faithfully served as District Superintendent of the First Alliance Fellowship District in the California Southern Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction under the leadership of Bishop George Dallas McKinney, General Board Member and Prelate within the International Church of God in Christ.

In 2014, after much prayer and divine direction, Bishop Hundley relocated the ministry to Temecula, California, where weekly worship services were established at 41710 Enterprise Circle South.

Later that same year, he was invited to serve as General Secretary for Kingdom Alliance Ministries under the leadership of Archbishop Willie Bolden. During this season, he was consecrated and elevated to the episcopal office in the Lord’s Church. In September 2015, Bishop Terrence L. Hundley was formally elevated to the sacred office of Bishop in Temecula, California.

Apostolic Leadership and Growth

In 2016, under the leading of the Holy Spirit, Bishop Hundley strengthened and secured The PLACE City of Miracles Cathedral under the apostolic covering of the Fellowship of Deliverance Churches Incorporated, under the leadership of Apostle James H. Howell, Presiding Prelate.

During this period, he faithfully served as Bishop of Apostolic Order and continued advancing the work of ministry, leadership development, and apostolic alignment.
In August 2018, responding to a renewed mandate from God, Bishop Hundley, together with a team of nine leaders, established ACTS II Covenant Network International, Inc., where he currently serves as Presiding Bishop and Prelate.

Today, both The PLACE City of Miracles Cathedral and ACTS II Covenant Network International continue to expand their ministry impact locally, nationally, and internationally through preaching, leadership training, discipleship, outreach, and apostolic fellowship.

Leadership During and After the Pandemic

While faithfully leading the local church, Bishop Hundley has also dedicated himself to strengthening bishops, overseers, pastors, and ministry leaders in the ongoing work of unifying the Body of Christ and advancing the Apostolic Assignment.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, The PLACE City of Miracles Cathedral relocated to its present ministry location at 41823 Enterprise Circle North, Suite 100, Temecula, California.

In the post-pandemic season, Bishop Hundley intensified his efforts in leadership development, discipleship training, pastoral strengthening, and community outreach, helping ministries recover, rebuild, and refocus after one of the most challenging periods in modern church history.

Throughout this season, Bishop Hundley traveled extensively throughout the United States and the U.S. Virgin Islands, facilitating leadership empowerment and strengthening local churches through ACTS II Covenant Network International and the Pacesetters In Motion Leadership Symposium.

His ministry emphasis has remained centered upon apostolic alignment, Kingdom advancement, leadership development, ecclesiastical unity, and the strengthening of the local church.

Recent Episcopal Service and Apostolic Succession

As Bishop Hundley’s ministry continued to mature and expand, he remained sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit concerning greater episcopal responsibility and apostolic service.

In late 2025, he was providentially led into fellowship and communication with + Metropoliticum Bishop Roger H. Phillips, Sr., Ph.D., and The Holy Episcoporum Synodality Council concerning matters pertaining to the episcopacy, Apostolic Succession, ecclesiastical authenticity, and canonical order.

After a season of fellowship, counsel, and spiritual alignment, Bishop Hundley formally requested in early 2026 that Metropoliticum Bishop Phillips serve as his Apostolic Father.

As this sacred father-and-son relationship developed, Metropoliticum Bishop Phillips appointed Bishop Hundley to serve as Coadjutor in Succession within The Holy Episcoporum Synodality Council. Subsequently, Bishop Hundley was granted and invested with Apostolic Succession in the Western and Eastern Patriarchal Streams formally installed into this historic episcopal assignment.

Today, Bishop Terrence L. Hundley faithfully serves alongside his Apostolic Father within The Holy Episcoporum Synodality Council, laboring to strengthen the Body of Christ through apostolic leadership, ecclesiastical unity, canonical formation, and Kingdom advancement throughout the African American Diaspora and beyond.
